Best Idea Prize UCC

Throwback to November 2024 when I was absolutely over the moon to win The Ignite Start-Up Lab “Best Idea Prize” at UCC for my start-up idea, Wild Atlantic Recovery, my mobile sports recovery service.

The Ignite Start-Up Lab is a six-week entrepreneurial programme run through UCC that supports early-stage founders in developing and refining their business ideas, culminating in a final pitch to an adjudication panel. The “Best Idea Prize” is awarded to the promoter who, in the opinion of the judges, presents the start-up idea with the greatest potential to succeed.

Throughout the programme, I had the opportunity to further develop my concept, receive valuable mentorship, and ultimately pitch Wild Atlantic Recovery Sports to a panel of judges at the final showcase.
